El pasado 9 de septiembre recibimos la visita del actual alcalde de Sevilla, D. José Luis Sanz, acompañado de Dña. Blanca Gastalver (Delegada de Educación, Juventud y Edificios Municipales y Distrito Sur), Dña. Evelia Rincón (Quinta Teniente de Alcalde. Área de Limpieza, arbolado, Parques y Jardines, Espacio Público, Consumo, Cementerio y protección Animal), D. José Luis García (octavo teniente de alcalde. Área de Gobierno de barrio de atención preferente, Derechos Sciales, Empleo, Familia, Igualdad y Asociaciones y Distrito Este-Alcosa-Torreblanca), además de otros responsables de varios departamentos del ayuntamiento.
El objetivo de la visita era lanzar una campaña de limpieza de los entornos escolares y una campaña de plantación de árboles en centros educativos, entre los que se encuentra nuestro centro. Aprovechó la visita para ver las mejoras que ha implementado en el centro en estos años: PISTAS DEPORTIVAS, CÁMARAS DE VIGILANCIA, RENOVACIÓN DEL PARQUE DE INFANTIL Y CERRAMIENTO DEL ARENERO DE INFANTIL.
Coincidiendo con la visita, operarios de mantenimiento estuvieron adecentando y reparando (y siguen en el centro estos días) incidencias que teníamos pendientes por reparar.
Aprovechamos la visita para comunicarles que, si bien estas mejoras son positivas para el centro, es importante que las mejoras coincidan con las necesidades que el centro tiene. Y es histórico y necesario para el centro el cambio de instalación eléctrica aumentando la potencia de la misma para que no salten los magnetotérmicos y permita al centro buscar alternativas al calor sofocante que sufren los edificios del centro. También le comunicamos la necesidad de potenciar con sombra los patios (¿Plantarán árboles en la zona del aparcamiento trasero?) y de acelerar la petición que el AMPA ha realizado en Edificios Municipales para la construcción de los toldos. A esta propuesta Blanca accedió a que el AMPA tuviera su teléfono y se mostró abierta a colaborar y llevar a cabo el proyecto de forma conjunta.
También le mostramos la deficiencia del servicio de limpieza interna de los centros y la falta de personal que sufrimos desde hace muchísimos años.
